Thank you for using King County’s Winter Weather Response Map. King County uses GPS technology to track the location and activity of its snowplows and sander vehicles. When it snows in unincorporated King County, snowplow and sander service locations will update on the map approximately every 30 minutes.
The map will display roads serviced over the most recent 12-hour period. The map also shows travel alerts and real-time traffic cameras from King County and the Washington State Department of Transportation. The Winter Weather Response Map is currently in the beta stage, which means it is undergoing testing, and will continue to evolve.
If it is critical that you have more current information about the status of a road or a service request, please call the 24/7 Road Helpline at 206-477-8100 or 800-527-6237. In major events, phone lines will be very busy and your patience is requested. Please do not e-mail for emergency road status information. For non-emergency inquiries email us. If this is an emergency, call 911.
